Terms of Service
Last updated June 2, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ApplyBot (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
ApplyBot helps you find relevant job listings, drafts tailored applications using AI, and — with your approval — sends those applications on your behalf using your name and your own email as the reply-to address. ApplyBot is a tool that assists your job search; it is not an employment agency.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure.
3. Your content and approvals
- You confirm that your CV and profile information are truthful and that you have the right to share them.
- You are responsible for the applications you approve. ApplyBot drafts content for you, but you decide what is sent. For external or form-based applications, you complete them yourself via the link we provide.
- You grant us a limited licence to use your content solely to operate the Service (matching jobs and drafting/sending applications you approve).
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful applications.
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or experience.
- Violate the terms of any job board, employer, or platform we interact with on your behalf.
- Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Service.
5. Subscriptions & billing
The Service is offered on a recurring monthly subscription, billed in Nigerian Naira through Paystack at the prevailing rate for your chosen plan. Prices may be displayed in USD for reference and charged in Naira. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; cancellation stops future renewals. See our Refund Policy for details.
6. No guarantee of outcomes
We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, or any specific result. Hiring decisions are made entirely by employers. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyBot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of opportunity, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used unlawfully.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
